Business Development Manager

Our client is a well established, global leading manufacturer of motorcycle tyres and require an experienced Business Development Manager to drive market share In the London & South of England Regions.

In this field based role, you will be supporting with the sale of multiple tyre brands across motorcycle and tyre retailers, directly and via distribution partners. You will own the region and be the point of contact for your retailers, driving market share in your region.

We would like to hear from you If you have:

  • Proven account management experience, ideally in the motorcycle industry.
  • Direct sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling to retail dealer networks.
  • Able to build strong relationships and foster social interaction with customers.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Great communicator with strong written and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Overview of the Business Development Manager Role:

  • Drive market share in your region in both road and off-road dealerships and tyre specialists.
  • Managing and capitalising on business opportunities within the southern region to develop a motorcycle network.
  • Supporting the existing dealer network and developing relationships with prospective business partners.
  • Manage all aspects of your accounts including sales in, sales out, credit limits, logistics, ordering, fleet, marketing, POS, education and training.
  • Grow your network- Onboarding new business partners, introducing them to the brand and assisting them in building new business opportunities in their area.
  • Educate customers on the brand and products available
  • Working strategically with customers to achieve agreed objectives and targets.
  • Develop an understanding of the UK motorcycle tyre market and the wider motorcycle industry to gain a competitive advantage.
