HR/ER Advisor


We are currently recruiting for a HR/ER Advisor to join our client, who have a Head Office based in Redditch. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefits with 2 days a week in the office and the rest from home.

As Employee Relations Advisor you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to all areas of the business and managing a range of ER cases. This is a 6-month FTC role.

  • You have a minimum 1 years experience In ER
  • Enjoys working collaboratively
  • Excellent academics and proof of ongoing professional training. (CIPD5)
  • Has a strong Knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent at managing your work load
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to travel to the Redditch Head Office as and when required
  • You are looking to progress your career In HR with a large organisation

Overview of the role of Employee Relations Advisor:

  • Build and maintain a effective communication loop with the Senior Employee Relations Advisor and People Business Partner to help drive change
  • Support People Team projects both business wide and adhoc
  • Supporting managers and keys stakeholders across the group; upskilling and developing line managers through the development, delivery and review of training materials and processes
  • Offer guidance and advice on ER issues Including disciplinary, grievance, capability, appeals, absence management, Equality Act, Redundancy, TUPE, change of terms and conditions, probation and flexible working
  • Provide ongoing coaching to managers to provide updates, best practice and sharing of knowledge
  • Provide consistent and up to date policy compliant advice and guidance to managers and key stakeholders against employment legal and risk framework

Key Information about the role:

  • 6-month FTC role
  • £1000 retention bonus paid upon completion of the 6-month FTC
  • Basic 5-10% discretionary bonus (based on company performance)
