Sales Manager


We have partnered with a successful manufacturing company in the Warwickshire area who are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to lead their wonderful team of 7 Sales Account Managers.

This permanent, full-time position based onsite at their open plan offices, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5.00pm with 1-hour lunch.
To be considered for the role of Sales Manager you will require:

  • Previous experience of successfully managing and developing a successful and happy sales team.
  • Proven sales success through building client relationships.
  • Have worked in a creative industry (design, promotions, events, print)
  • Have an artistic flare and appreciation of design.
  • Are detail oriented and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication and numeracy skills in Microsoft Excel and working with Apple Macs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Manager Role:

  • Working closely with the Sales Director and Managing Director.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the sales & marketing team.
  • Involved In sales forecasting, providing sales analytics and resource management.
  • Assigning team workloads
  • Identifying new markets and targeting new business
  • Overseeing and contributing to tender and bid proposals.
  • Developing long term relationships and reconnecting with lost clients
  • Following product trends and adapting them for clients
  • Identifying and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Attending networking events and shows.
  • Placing advertising & Planning exhibitions
