We are currently recruiting for a People Advisor to join our National charity, at their office in Birmingham with Hybrid working available.
The People Advisor will play a pivotal role in promoting a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring the well-being of our staff members. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization to implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR-related enquiries, concerns, and conflicts. Provide guidance and support to resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Develop and conduct effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees feel welcomed and equipped for success.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Coordinate learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to promote fairness, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
  • Employee Engagement and Well-being: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, morale, and well-being. Organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and other initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll and benefits, and managing HR-related documentation and systems.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Compile and analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
